|Gary Dwight Storey, 72, was born in Grand Junction, CO, on November 30, 1941. He passed after a short illness on March 11, 2014.
Gary attended school in Grand Junction and Farmington, NM, was active in Demolay, band, sports, drama, and church. He attended college on a baseball scholarship, attaining Masters Degree
in choral music. He taught choral music in public school for 12 years, taking choirs to the National MENC. He subsequently had a 26 year career in sales, sales management, and computer
education for Lawson Products. Gary served on the Colorado Board of Limb Preservation. He shared his love of music directing church choirs in various states, and the Festival of Freedom productions in Ouray.
Gary is survived by the love of his life, wife, Sandy; three children, son, Dee (Ana), and daughters, Carole (Jay), and Caryn (Dan); five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Gary lived life to the fullest, enjoying the outdoors and his beloved San Juans. He was ever the optimist in spite of health problems. He was outgoing, sociable, kind, and loveable. His faith in God
never wavered. He will be so missed by his family and friends.

of Ridgway, CO.
